The Garden Cartoon depicts artist, Beth Courtright-Detwiler and her 2 children. It orginated as a pen and ink drawing and then was reworked and digitally enhanced for The Community Flower Garden mural event to show the importance of teaching our children about the beauty of our environment and the importance of viewing and understanding our would as an amazing garden that must be nurtured and tended with love and imagination.
